Spores can lay dormant for months until temp and humidity is just right and then, pop!
Looks like they came over night but they've been waiting.

It's hard to say without seeing it but not mold is not going to be great for you.
Sugar soap to clean and bleach to kill the spore.

Serious reply: Fungi in rooms/houses are mainly caused by damp/water damage. So there is a more serious problem which needs to be fixed even if you remove the fungus. The main problem are the spores that are left behind after cleaning. At the moment it would certainly be a health risk living/sleeping in that room because of the spores. It can cause respiratory problems and can be more serious in people with existing respiratory problems or a low immune system due to other illnesses.

This. OP, fungal spores can be deadly dangerous. Get rid. I personally am a great believer in a drop of Chlorous acid diluted about ten-to-one with tapwater. Gets rid of just about anything short of a tacnuke.

However, that stuff is dangerous as well - if in doubt, stay away from it.

You know some mushrooms are quite picky. Probably wants to freshen up its spores and give itself a bit more colour.
Make it really pop when the photo is taken.

The mushroom you see is just the equivalent of a flower. The actual fungus is a much larger organism that's living in your damp wall or wood consuming it. It's basically a network of fibres that look a bit like cobwebs.

The mushrooms come up when the conditions are right for spore distribution and they'll literally appear within a matter of hours.

You need to get whatever's causing the damp fixed and replace fungus damaged rotten woodwork.
