Going to give Enobled one last chance today the step up in trip will suit. The horse seems to love running into the back of other horses, but i will give him one last chance today.

My day could be made in a half hour from 2 bells. 3 favs in a row I fancy. Singles and multiples. Nafaqa, New Story and Sulaalaat.

He's a bit short in the tooth at 11/10, but ever since I saw his debut I thought 2.10 Haydock New Story was a Pattern Class horse in the making and nothing has changed in that regard. He makes his handicap debut here off a mark of 85 and I'd be very disappointed if he wasn't good enough.

Popped into the bookies on lunch to watch the golf and spotted that New Story race, made a mockery of that 85 anyway

Lovely, lovely performance by New Story who shat in unchallenged. Looks every inch a Pattern Class horse. Looks like the trainer's next Educate standard animal.

I'll take you on with First Post in that race. Pretty big 40/1. Eachway shot for sure

Another one that caught my eye today is 4.45 Newbury Burano 5/1 as he looks to have been plotted up a little bit. Having run well twice in Meydan earlier this year in blinkers, Burano came back to British shores rated 102 and in his 4 runs since Dubai he has been running on at the death over trips too short without the headgear and has resultantly been dropped 8lb to a mark of 94. Back up in trip today and with the blinkers reapplied, I expect Burano is primed to run a huge race for an in form Brian Meehan team and, if they don't go a crawl (no guaranteed pace), I think he'll go close. Only 1 win in a Listed contest in 28 starts so he's not one for maximum faith.

Have long had my eye on Burano. Don't think he is a plot job just very hard to get right

Caught my eye for the exact same reasons. Will wait till on course prices as by the look of Betfair she'll drift. Draw in stall 2 the only worry.

big mistake I make is not always checking betfair
small win bet on that at 10 also

no doubt the tactics won't change much

    edit, 11 now :(

Big worry about the draw now after the opening maiden. Will make my decision on stakes after seeing the 7.10.

Bar the one tipped in the tips thread, I'll have a punt on Quinns in the 8.00 Pontefract, El Beau @ 5/2.

Was one of 3 I was told to keep on side from Quinns yard there at the start of the year, will have come on from seasonal reappearance run lto which he came 3rd and that form ain't bad, second won since and winner since ran to within 3L's of winner in a class 2.
