scanner problem

I have epson scanner printer. I can print wirelessly over network but i cannot scan "scanner cannot communicate with computer" Shouldn't I be able to scan wirelessly too EDIT:- Got it sorted. Not sure why it was would not work for a while. Scans wirelessly
