Eircom mislead again

    Lads Eircom optic Fibre my you know what. I have been signed up to it now for 14 months saying its coming and then they say i have it and then tehy say i dont and now after taking my mopeny and have on there map on there website that Optic fibre is available in my area i suddenly discover yea its in the exchange in my area but our lines cant get tehm but not to worry you have super fast 12mg broadband. by the way this is the same super fast that i never tested over 1.3mg at any stage. they area joke i got a tech lad who admitted to me that unless your in a major town or city and close to teh exchange you wont get there super fast optic fibre which he also admitted is not so super fast.
    Now question i got annoyed and told the to cancel my phone and broadband and i will go with sky but does any know will sky be any faster or with teh same line will it be the same. Sky asy they can get 12mg. hey who knows all i know is my interent on my phone is quicker than my router

    They use Eircom's equipment and lines so no they won't be any different as they have to go to eircom for any network/line faults to be fixed so as crap as they are you are better off where you are

    Sky and Vodafone are both €5-€10 cheaper for the most popular bundles of the broadband plus either off peak or all local and national calls! Eircom offer a 6month discount so it is €35 for 6 months but then it goes up to €50-€55 for the remainder of your time with them. Vodafone and sxy have cheaper €35-€45 bundles without the offers that are too good to be true!

    Yes I do know all that but I live 4 miles from an exchange and have had a lot of line faults and various problems that happened external to my property and you should really try getting Vodafone or sky to call eircom out when it's a line issue they put you through hoops first checking every useless suggestion on their check list
    Your broadband will basically be down
    If, like me the lines feeding your phone are antiquated
