As I was going out to work this morning the wife decided to head out for a spin, now normally I go with her and I carry spare tubes etc and she can't (won't) change a tube so I'm considering getting a few of these for her.

Has anyone used them, and are they any good ?

Sealant is pretty much like Sex Panther. "60 percent of the time it works all of the time".

I've used this kind of thing in the past. It really depends on the puncture. If it's a big enough hole, it won't seal it.

Get conti tubes, get a bottle of stans no more tubes, put stans in tubes, no more (small) punctures

I've used Stans on my MTB with tubeless tyres and it works great. Never considered using it on my road bike

Doesn't work on pinch punctures and ends up coming out eveywhere making it a nightmare to then change the tube!!

So a waste of time throwing this into a jersey? Better off with 2 tubes and set of levers?

    Yep we are :)
But if herself gets a puncture while out I'd rather hear over dinner how she "sprayed some stuff" into the tube and cycled home instead of getting a phone call to collect her :D
