Taking advantage of an Ambulance passing through

Noticed this a bit, when an ambulance is passing through... evidently the majority of people clear the way to let it pass.

That being said, I've noticed as soon as the ambulance passes through some people immediately dive back into lane to take full advantage of the clearance made behind the ambulance, especially when there's high traffic.

Considering it'd be natural for the relatives or friends of the casualty wanting to get to the hospital along with the ambulance, one could consider it a bit of a prick thing to do for others to just dive in.

So with all this being said - what's your opinion on this, do you do it yourself and why ?

    Highly dangerous and idiotic!
You expect an ambulance to blare through the traffic but not for a non-emergency vehicle to follow suit!

Any driver that does that is a moronic wanker.
