Hi all, My ford transit van failed the CVRT test due to the chassis number peeling off of it when the tester tried to clean the number. Just wondering should the chassis number on the front right hand side of the van near the wheel be imprinted or just on a plate? I've enclosed a picture of where it was. I bought the van…

Hi all,
My ford transit van failed the CVRT test due to the chassis number peeling off of it when the tester tried to clean the number.
Just wondering should the chassis number on the front right hand side of the van near the wheel be imprinted or just on a plate?
I've enclosed a picture of where it was.
I bought the van from a main ford dealer four years ago.
