    I just discovered the shop I worked in for 4 years closed down. I haven't been back there for about 2 years. Problem Is their the only place I've worked and won't be able to get a reference now. What can I do ? I've even lost phone numbers so I've no way of contacting ex colleagues....

    When leaving a place always ask for a written reference, any decent place would have no problem giving you it. Saves problems like this in the future. Good luck anyway.
