Anyone know what would cause the lift on a Massey 399 to start rising by itself. Was doing a bit of topping the other day and since then it keeps rising up without me touching the lift lever. Any help greatly appreciated.

Wonder would the spring senser at the top link be damaged. No too sure on it though

Sound reggie, it's still under warranty so I should be able to get it sorted anyway

Either that or the links are damaged to the lift pump. The levers still move freely

Has a 399 got 2 levers for the lift like the older masseys, if so check the draft settings

Yeah they have 2 levers alright. This is my first tractor so not sure what the draft settings are.

Pull the tallest/furthest one all the way back and the nearest one should control the arms then. If not then there's a problem
