    Hi everyone,

Like a few of you on here, I have PCOS and it is making it a tough challenge to conceive. I am thinking about alternative medicine especially acupuncture. Does anyone have any experience and/or could you recommend someone in Co. Kildare/west Dublin? I have been diagnosed for years and on no medication but am going to see a specialist (Gyny) in a few weeks. I find I can be a big worrier and sometimes feel stressed and I know that this is a negative factor for TTC as well. I am slightly overweight now and it is really upsetting me too, although I am normally in or around a healthy weight for my height. Any help especially re acupuncture would be much appreciated ladies. And good luck to you all with your baby dreams and plans! x

I have attended an acupuncturist in Lucan for some time now for a few different things the last of which was help with TTC.
We'd been trying for 6/7 months when I went to him about this and it was certainly a good way to chill out and relax. It also helped to regulate my cycle.
I am now 29 weeks pregnant. I conceived in January of this year approx 5 months of acupuncture. I had also been to my GP to have my bloods checked and my husband had a semen analysis test done and they both came back with good results which of course helped.
If you'd like more details on the person I attended please feel free to PM me and I'll give you the name and contact number.
