    Hi folks

I visit an older lady in Sandyford who is quite overweight and on the verge of diabetes. Her doctor wants her to get some exercise and I'm trying to help her find something.

She won't go for a walk because she has a phobia of dogs so I'm looking for an indoor class in the area, something like yoga or light fitness, maybe aqua aerobics etc.

It's difficult to find information online as a lot of these classes happen in parish halls or community centres so I'm hoping someone might know of a suitable class she could do on an afternoon or evening, somewhere close to Sandyford area.

Did you try Balally family resource centre? I think they have drop-in exercise classes for the elderly - chairobics, think it was €3 a class

That would be perfect actually - will try them. I found some other classes with the League of Fitness also, so we'll definitely find something to suit her.
    Thanks!
