Anti-virus for Windows 2000

    Anybody know of an anti-virus that will install on windows 2000 server and professional?

    Thanks. Seen that but would prefer an on-access scanner, if there is one.

    never used it myself, supports Windows 2000

    Thanks. but that and another download from the comodo web site won't install on Windows 2000 Server or Professional for some reason.

    do you have all 4 service packs installed?

    Yes, Service Pack 4 on all of them - one Server and four Professional.

    ClamWin did install but did not detect the virus I am having problems with.

    AVG does detect it on XP but will not install on 2000.

    I'm chasing the bloody thing round the network.

    Going to be very hard to get a modern anti virus to install on 2000.
    I'd opt for a bootable avg recovery disk with the latest definitions

    Tried the AVG Rescue Disk. Wouldn't run. Will try Kaspersky boot.
