What discontinued or refomulated hair and beauty products do you miss?

For me they are all hair products:

Pureology Essential Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. I'm really gutted that they discontinued this a few months ago. It was my holy grail hair range- left my dry damaged hair smooth, soft and strong. The replacement Strength Cure range leaves it lank and less smooth.

Kerastase Bain Satin 3 Shampoo. This was really fabulous for those times when my hair got really dried out. I don't find the Nutri Thermique range that replaced it half as good.

Alfaparf Nutri Seduction Shampoo for very dry hair. This replaced Bain Satin 3 for me until they replaced it with their new Semi Di Lino Moisture range which is nowhere near as moisturising.

I thought that the Wella SP range was much better before they reformulated most of it about five years ago. Now I find most of their shampoos too harsh.

Does anyone else have hair or beauty products they'd love too see return?

I used to have Revlon shape perfection shampoo and conditioner - hair always looked amazing after using it. Can't get it anywhere anymore :(

Sometimes you can find those products you mentioned in TK Maxx.

Pantene shampoo for curly hair. It was excellent. Haven't seen it in years now.

For me it would be the revlon skinlights highlighter, this was amazing a few years ago. It was discontinued but it has since been relaunched but it's not the same product at all, it smells and feels completely different. Pity cos it was great under foundation for giving a dewy finish.

    Sunsilk Anti-frizz Waves & Curls.

Apparently it was discontinued due to the fact it was tested on animals. Not sure how true that is though.

    It was amazing.

I miss Chanel Pro Lumiere foundation sooooooo much!! It was discontinued in 2011 and I have tried nearly every foundation ever made and cannot find one that gives me that perfect glow that Pro Lumiere did. I fail to understand why companies discontinue cult products. I know that I'm not the only one still mourning the loss of Pro Lumiere. Every time I pass a Chanel counter I still ask if there is any hope/sign of them bringing it back and the staff always tell me that it was the best foundation Chanel ever made and was the top seller but seemingly it was discontinued and replaced by Prefection Lumiere (which is crap) as the Pro Lumiere was not selling well in the USA. No matter what counter I go to the staff always tell me it was their favourite Chanel foundation too!

I also miss the kerastraight 12 week blow dry- the formaldehyde version. The new formaldehyde free formula does nothing for my hair, it was just an expensive waste of money. I actually washed my hair continuously with cleansing shampoo to get rid of it from my hair as all it did was make in lank and my hair constantly felt like it had a greasy coating on it. It was like the complete opposite of the brilliant original formula.

    Okay, rant over now!

John Freda Spray in Gel, I have curly hair and that gel gave me the perfect amount of grip, and the perfect curl ! Devo that its gone, nothing has matched up to it yet! :(

I really miss the old kerastase lait vital protéine. The newer version just doesn't work as well or feel as luxurious, even the packaging isn't as nice!

Thought of another one! John Frieda luminous colour glaze, it was a tint that lasted a few washes and gave hair a lift.

They also had a divine shampoo and conditioner in the brilliant brunette range, think they were called lustrous touch.

Mine are all hair related too!

I remember this from around 2001! It was great!

Almay spray on tan, the exact same at sally Henson, but was only £1.50 a bottle :-(

Sally Hansen's "light" glow when it actually was pale and suited my skin tone, and *didn't* look like fake tan...

Also, a foundation that Avon used to do when I was a teenager, it was liquid and was so perfect for my skin, but they seemed to discontinue it, and the one they said was the same as it (the magic x cashmere foundation), isn't the same consistency at all :(

Not quite discontinued, but I miss Cover Girl... And before anyone says that Max Factor are the same, they're not - lots of different products, and we get both down under so no idea why Cover Girl isn't available in Ireland

Dove thalassotherapy firming gel. I bought it when I ran out of facial moisturiser and it was very nice.
