I bought some land a few years ago and about 6 acres of mountain land came with it, the land wouldn't be too boggy and there is a guy living up there and lets his cattle roam around the mountain and they manage to do well up there.

I was wondering if I fenced in the land and grazed it with some rare breeds would the land be eligible for das and the new glas scheme

nobody else has fenced in their land up there only some of the new plantations. most ground is not fenced and let go wild

most would consider it commage type land but it is freehold
