The All-Ireland Hurling Final, the All-Ireland Football Final, or to one of the Garth Brooks concerts (if it was definitely going ahead), which would you choose?

    :)

And say it's your county playing in the AI finals, unless you're from Leitrim of course....

Which would you choose? 101 votes

    Great question.

I would choose the Brooks tickets as i guess they would have the highest re- sale value.

Wouldn't be much interested in any of them, but if I had to choose I'd probably go Hurling.

Only if Westmeath got to the final.

    Stop laughing :(

Any of the GAA games. At least they'll go ahead! Can watch the local residents take the flack over Brooks on way home.

Hurling final. Hurling final by a country mile and I'm not a huge hurling fan but can appreciate the incredible skill that it takes to be a good player/team.

You won't see anyone taking flack though, because people won't do anything.

You're dead right there pal. People love acting billy-big-balls on Facebook and other "social meeja" with their threats of kicking mirrors and so on.

    Nothing ever happens.

Football final and then I would sell it for something I would enjoy.

Fcuk that. A ticket for the Rugby World Cup final in 2023 would do the job nicely though

Football final, but I'd load up my mp3 with plenty of Garth to listen to on the bus up.

Err, no I mean I hate them all. Yeah that's right.

Are they for free? Then Garth Brooks. I would pay to see Donegal in a final and already have, I would not pay to see him though.

Football Final, I have only ever attended one hurling game in my life even though it has a lot of ancient routes in northern Ireland.

:confused::confused: all ireland tickets are worth much more than any garth brooks ticket.

even if they go ahead, once the initial fuss died down, the realistion will hit that 1000's of people bought extra tickets for those concerts and there will be plenty going for cost or even below cost value in the days before the concerts.

grand if you can meet a fool who will panic and pay above the odds, but youd get 300-500 for an all ireland (if you really wanted it) but you'd not get many people idiotic enough to pay that for a concert.

I ’m equating that with Garth Brooks as a valid benchmark.

Hurling as long as Kilkenny weren't in it, football to see Mayo finally lift Sam :D

Might be worth watching, if only for the novelty value.

Otherwise from the choice given I'd sooner have a parking ticket.

Whichever one is on first so I can get my way into Croke Park and hide and watch the following 2 events.
