I know you can buy foreign cards on for 12 months without having to pay the monthly bill and it's all paid upfront, do sky uk do this too? and if so has anyone used before and how much was it for the full package including sky sports?

Sky will take any up front payment you are willing to give them but will still require some-sort of monthly payment type.

Looking at their website a full package is €81 a month - you multiply that by 12 yourself :P

Otherwise you can get the variety thingy and sports for less - have a look at their website would be my advice.

That's not a pre pay subscription card though.
