Is there any other shops in dublin that does guns and ammo? Tallaght rod and gun are gone an I don't fancy doing the trip to bray every time in need ammo. I heard of one in Lucan but is there any others??

Lucan shop is a joke!! C & G in Leixlip if ur in that area.

Ok I figured out the who bit, CG Hobbies. Where is still a mystery, their web site puts them in a field:

Thanks lads. I didn't know Rory's done ammo. I do get odd bit of fishing ear in there. May take a trip in tomoro as il be in there anyway.
May leave this thread open and more shops can be added.

They are just beside Hewlett Packard, / Newhall rugby club/ Leixlip canoe club, its down the side of a white bungalow, sign on the gate/wall at the house.
Clarence or Ger run it, & the open evening times aswell

I try to keep it updated, but it's not always possible as i don't know or visit all the shops so rely on lads informing me what is and is not open, but it's always a decent starting point.

Afaik that's what the plan was but it was supposed to open back before Xmas. Don't think it's happening now.

Not too bad. My nearest dealer is an hour from me. All the others are 1.5 hours or more. Hence the reason i get large amounts on my license. It'd cost as much on fueel to get to them as it does to buy the ammo. So a box of .17s would cost about €40 when i factor in fuel.

Just back from lucan now. Sound lad t deal with. Asked him what'd he go for in terms of make and he said the est he has tried so far are only 8 quid a box.
My dad wants bullets for the magnum and he does them for 17 quid a box which isn't to bad.
Also very easy shop to find. Thought I'd be searchin all over lucan for it

So new shop is open.
Was up there today to get cartridges and wow.
Big shop with a great selection of fishing gear, kayaking, mountain climbing gear, section for air soft equipment like guns and clothes, has hunting gear all over like decoys, pigeon magnets, fox calls etc and has the guns in the back which he had no problem showing me. Place is very well done up and friendly staff. Even has a cafe and sandwich section where you can chill and whatever.
Prices are reasonable aswell.
Well worth a look folks. It's beside woodies in tallaght across from tallaght stadium and it's called range river mountain.
