Booksunlimited Shutdown - Order in Process Not Received

Hello, I ordered several books from booksunlimited.ie the week before they announced they were closing down (have used their service for years). They have advised they will be servicing any orders submitted (hmmm) Nearly a month later, still no books.

What are the chances of getting the books or money returned on a company that's since closed down? Yes, I have emailed them. Nothing back yet. Anyone else in the same position?

Did you pay with credit card? Because you can initiate a chargeback. When you do a chargeback your credit card company has to give you the money back and then it's up to them to recover the money for themselves so the book company being closed won't affect you there.

Yep, paid with credit card. Thanks, will look into that. Annoyed if have to go down that route, would actually prefer the books as they did claim originally they'd be sent.

it says its just the online business closing (online is far more difficult to operate than real stores). AFAIK they have 2 or 3 stores in Dublin.
