You made the assertion that it is a deliberate tactic or strategy by the IDF high command or government. I called you up on it to provide proof. Now you want me to prove a negative in an effort to,distract from the fact that you cannot find any proof to further your claim. I'll take that as the point is conceded.

The evidence is in the statistics. What is happening is incremental genocide.

AND the wanton murders continue unabated. Israel is a sick country.

I always believed in Israels right to exist and even defend itself but this continued blatant murder spree it's on has shown them up for what they are. The Israeli military high command and government should be tried for war crimes.

They are looking to bomb every hospital, every school, everyone.

'we regret civilian deaths as much as anyone' 'if only hamas would...' 'we show more restraint than....'.

I prefer to think of the situation as if the roles were reversed.

Imagine Hamas controlled what is now Israel and the Israeli's were confined to Gaza. Now, imagine Hamas killing 1,000 Israeli's - you'd find people on here such as I Heart Internet accusing Hamas of genocide and anti-semitism. However, when the shoe is on the other foot, they just can't bring themselves to condemn Israel "proportionally".

They are trying to scare Hamas by overdoing the violence and causing as many casualties as possible "to teach them a lesson".
They just don't get it at all that all they are doing is strengthening Hamas and every other group against themselves. The whole world can see that they have taken a sledgehammer to crack a nut BUT the Israelis thrive in the "them against us" kind of sh**. It unites them.
They really are a sick people.
The only thing that would bring them to their senses is if the US stepped in but then again they have such influence in that cowardly country that it won't happen.

    Hmmmmmmm

Kids killed in a playground, hospital shelled = Israeli apologists falling silent.

It's as if they know they have lost the PR battle, and utimately they will just continue with their quest for the final solution. It's just so terribly sad that the World hasn't done something to stop this

By fomenting the strength of support for Hamas, the Israeli's are succeeding in avoiding peace. Peace, after all, is the last thing Israel wants as it could mean ceding territory or recognising a legitimate Palestinian government. It'll do everything it can to avoid this peace settlement by instigating massacres such as this at a whim.

Israel has a right to defend itself. It is being too aggressive in this particular instance, but it has a right to defend itself.

They are waiting for the memo from Israeli HQ but we all know what it will say 'We are defending ourselves against Hamas rockets and we carried out strikes to take out Hamas operatives and their weapons' and 'We have the right to defend ourselves*'

    * repeat ad nauseam

The world has. It's encouraged both sides to stop firing.

If both sides did that, people would stop dying.

It's the same old mantra, repeated ad nauseum.

"Israel has a right to defend itself"...well, every state has the right to defend itself.

And as for Israel being "too aggressive in this particular instance", well, this infers it's a rare incidence and if this is what you mean, then you know nothing of this conflict.

Who's defending the Palestinians by the way? I don't see you defending civilians as much as you defend the aggressor, the Israeli Offence Force.

These "tunnels of terror" are there primarily because Egypt and Israel have shut off the country from the outside world. Basic things like schoolbooks, building equipment etc. are transported in via the tunnels as there is hardly anything allowed into Gaza.

    Well that's precisely the problem.

The people of Gaza have elected themselves a Government that has a penchant for attacking Israel. Their government, who are tasked with bringing peace, stability and a modicum of prosperity to Gaza have abdicated that responsibility in order to pursue their own vanity project of attacking Israel.

The people who should be protecting Gaza, Hamas, are drawing the fire.

Because, tragically, Hamas will use any available opportunity to import rockets to fire at Israel. Chicken and egg.

They actually have just come out and said that. Pure evil

Especially when Israel illegally stops and searches ships in international waters and then forces them to sail to Israel.

    No. It doesn't.

Any deliberate targeting of children and other non-combatants is reprehensible.

Why does Israel ban stuff like school books?

You don't want the people you are trying to displace, to hold up things by becoming educated.

Kids can make Paper Aeroplanes , In turn these can be used as weapons dropping water bombs in Israel territory.

I'm sure that hospital unit the IDF just bombed was a huge threat alright.

Supposedly, the point is that the people can get out, but they won't be able to take more than light arms or a laptop with them. Heavy weapons, detailed plans etc would be lost with the building.

Any deliberate targeting of children and other non-combatants is reprehensible.

Lobbing shells and firing missiles into densely populated areas where homes, schools, and hospitals are is deliberately targeting civilians among which there will inevitably be children.

The Israelis are terrorising the population of Gaza and traumatising the children. It's disgusting and anyone who tries to propagate the lie that this is Israel defending itself is disgusting along with them.
