travelling to the north for dental treatment

I need root canal treatment on a molar and also a bridge. Very expensive. Is it worthwhile travelling up to the north? Warrenpoint or Newry are only an hour and a half away, but I don't know if I want to have a long journey every time I need an appointment, I like the idea of knowing my dentist is nearby if there are any problems, without having to face a long drive every time.
    Is it worth it?

There will be plenty of dentist locally that will price match clinics in the north. WIth sterling at the moment it will work out expensive for you. Shop around, but be sure your getting a good job done. Nothing is more expensive than doing something twice. Root canals are particularly sensitive to quality considerations.

    Thanks for replying.
I'm thinking of sticking with my usual dentist who I trust. Even if it does work out cheaper in the north, I don't fancy a long drive if I ever have a problem with the work done. I've checked out another local dentist and the price seems to be almost the same
