    After cleaning out the sheds, my brother found this cutting machine but we can't figure out what it is exactly. Any ideas?

    is it not just a saw for cutting logs, look belt driven, is there a driveshaft attached anywhere for attaching to tractor?

    Tractor type pulley driven saw, like this, maybe;

    actually loooking at it again is that just a strap lying over it, thought it was a belt initially

    Thanks so much for the replies. The strap is definitely a belt.

    An upside buzz saw. - I would never have known it was upside down.
