Folks, just looking for any quick points in terms of replacing my current ST55 shower pump. I have been giving the option of 'Grundfos 1.5Bar Twin Regenerative Positive' or 'Mira 1.5 Bar Twin Ended Pump Positive'.

Price aside, would one have a better rep than the other for quality?

    Thanks

It all depends on what you are running off the pump, e.g. 1 single shower only, or complete bathroom(s).

Where would people recommend buying a pump in Dublin?

Phone around all the usual places and get prices, they can vary a bit.

Both are budget priced pumps only really suitable for single shower installations.
The Mira is the same model as the Stuart Turner ST15. They are not a bad pump and are reasonably quiet, but are not really designed for easy repairs, and if I remember correctly printed circuit boards etc are Not available. Even if they are, it requires a partial pump strip down to change one.
The Grundfos is similar in design to the old Stuart 330 models where the circuit board is in an easily accessible box in case you need to get at it. Plus the parts Are available for them. Its as quiet as a plastic bodied pump can be, similar to the Mira.
Although I always favor Stuart Turner pumps, in this case, and price range, I would be recommending the Grundfos.

Thanks for the advice, it was the way I was leaning, but good to get another opinion based on the info you have detailed.
