Elegant cabling solution required

I'm looking for an elegant solution for a soon to be cabling issue. I currently have my speakers on a speaker stand but the little guy is now moving around and it's only a matter of time before he knocks them over and does damage to himself, speakers are 2 kilos each.

So I've decided to mount the speakers on the wall. The speakers are white and the walls are white and the sockets are near floor level. So I would have to run a cable up the wall to speaker. Walls are solid, so no running them behind anything.

Any of the channel runner things I've seen are bulky and are an eye sore. I could get white cable but it would be dangling and something the little guy would eventually pull at. Are there any clean solutions out there that I might not be aware of?

Maybe look towards the QED Qontour speaker cable. I have installed it in a house with two very active pups ( dog's) and the cable is still intact (after five years)
