Hello, i'll be in Mallow at the weekend and i'm just wondering where are the nicest places to eat? (that will also be open till around 10 or 11) And is there anything else to do in Mallow or the surrounding areas that doesn't involve going to a pub? Thanks

On mainstreet, Springford Hall Cafe or Brudairs are nice cafes. For a more substantial lunch, there is always the HiB.
For the evening, offhand Jumbo Chinese, La Scala and D'Mugal are satisfactory for a meal.

La Scala seems to be closed for the time being. The Gallery is also decent for food.

There's golf and outdoor tennis at the golf club. Doneraile park is nearby if you want a walk in nice surroundings.
