work shift as well, often play just on my own, I like it, and in fact sometimes prefer it. It is a great way of practice, and you can often play V par and it will keep you motivated.

I recently won a sun morn comp after coming off a 12 hour night shift, with 3 hours sleep the day before !

Karl Morris recommends playing 2 balls and always playing your worst ball.
That way when your in a comp it will be a lot easier hopefully.
Everybody hates a glory hunter :)

Sounds like a standard round for me, when your worst is a choice between a rock and a hard place! :pac:

Out for 9 this evening on my own. What a way to unwind after work. Just me the hares and the ducks.

    Pure bliss

I'd play alot on my own too . If I didn't I simply would not of got any better . Iv friends that play but might only get out once every couple of weeks . And with my addiction to the game that's just not enough .

When I play on my own I played 2 ball better ball . I find it's great to keep myself in a competitive zone right till the end .

Played Fota Island this morning on my lonesome. Teed off at 7.35 and was done and dusted for 10.30. Absolute bliss, didn't see a living sole for the entire round!!
