    If you are interested in the ongoing discussion in sport about cheating through drugs have a look at The Armstrong Lie and BBC's other voices Armstrong documentary.

    It's sickening to watch how flagrant he was in cycling and I'm sure the drug cheats caught in Athletics were no different in attitude to the range of cheats featured in these documentaries. A lot of their cheating would have be transferable to middle and long distance running.

    Bottom line, I would love to see any convicted cheat get an asterisk applied to all their results, past, present and future and to their entry & start lists, whatever the ban period. It would cost nothing.

    Simple way to watch, for example, an olympic 100m final and if 7 former cheats allowed to compete have the * then you know who to cheer for.
