    Anybody having a problem using the Reserve Ticket Only section of Irish Rail.

    It won't let me reserve a seat for an already bought ticket.

    Have you already bought a ticket online during that transaction? If so then you would have already been allocated a seat.

    Now when I click on "Reserve Seats only" for this train it wont let me do it.
    Seems to work on all other services.

    I'm going to guess the reason is that part of the journey is going to made on a train where you can't reserve a seat, so the system won't let you reserve a seat for any part of the journey.

    You should be able to reserve a seat for Dublin to Limerick Junction portion of the journey on the way down and same for way back.

    Surprised Irish Rail weren't aware of this.
