I'm happy out. The boyfriend bought tickets to one of those concerts and now I won't have to go with him. I left my job. I'm planning exciting things for the end of year. I am mostly enjoying life and much happier than I have been in ages.

    Bring on winter 2014

I've spent most of the summer in 30C heat and hardly any rain, can't complain but I miss Galway.

Being the middle of winter now and pissing down with rain it's not quite as nice. Roll on December

One of the worst summers in a long time. One of my pups died 2 weeks ago. He was healthy as a mule and died in 2 days. Vets could not figured what was it. When they did postmortem - cancer. He was not even two years old ffs.
His birthday would have been this week too. Every single time someone asks me about him I just start crying. I am not even talking about the last week where I would just cry day from day.

When vet said he won't make it the night we took him home. The worst that we could imagine would be for him to die alone in the cage at vets. At least he died with us at home in my misses hands. Me and his brother next to him.

So yeah, a wet summer for me.

It's like something from a Instagram feed to be honest. Lots of very attractive people sitting around in parks eating pulled pork rolls from The Fumbally, our bikes strewn on the grass. Then into a camper van to head down West to go surfing for the weekend.

That's a pain I know all too well. Its ****e having it hang over you. The sense of relief when you see you get over 40% is delightful.

Bit of a mixed bag so far.

Lost someone very close to me to cancer at the start of the summer.

Heading to Germany on Monday to hopefully join the celebrations if they win the WC.

I'm great now the heat has mostly died down to be replaced by rain and wind.

Not trying to be pedantic but your dog evidently wasn't as "healthy as a mule".

Yes, yes you are trying to be pedantic.

Well, it's a World Cup summer. So it's been a great summer! :p

Started out good, was in Vegas and out in the country in NY state for a few weeks. Will be looking to go back to NY for Xmas.

Came back home and realised how mundane my life is here and that I want to fùck off. GF is the same way so we both had 2 depressed heads on us for a while :pac:

Have to go to the dentist today after having insanely horrible pain in my teeth and gums, like a jellyfish's tentacles wrapped around my head under my skin. Probably have an infection and will be looking at a huge bill to fix / extract my back molar(s).

    Oh joy....

Right now, happier than I've been in quite a while.

I've got 2 weeks off between jobs and am enjoying them immensely. The weather is great, so I go for swims most days and I recently bought a bicycle and am going for small cycles a lot.
Painted the shed blue, did lots of little jobs around the house, or just read or watch bad day-time telly.

Oh, and Germany's game last night - fantastic.
I'm not going to try and predict them winning the cup, but I'd really, really would love to see them go home with the trophy. Germany had lots of good teams in the past, but this one might just be the won to win the world cup for the 4th time. :D

I'm chalking this summer down to a 'meh' summer. I appear to be in a near-constant state of stress for the last couple of weeks and it's proving difficult to snap out of it.

But hayfever is minimal this year, so that makes everything else miles better, even the crappy stuff.

He never had any symptoms and he was at vet regularly for general check ups. Always coming out with flying colours. He went from cheerful playful pup to corpse in less then 48 hours.
So yeah, he was not healthy after all so. And vet said we could not had done anything.
So I don't even understand the point of your post even in slightest. I will just write it down as being a dick in a spirit of Ah.

I'm loving it so far :)

Settling into the new house, my son starts pre school at the end of summer and I finally have a pug :D

Longest I've been off anti depressants in years! Being married is great too.
