So besides recruitment agencies, and the usual jobs.ie etc, are there any other good places to advertise jobs for free?
I've got LinkedIn, #jobfairy, job bridge and I think most of the radio stations advertise them for free?

Hiring people is one of the most important things a company can do.

Is it really not worth the EUR 75 or whatever it costs to advertise it on one of the big job websites?

The big jobs websites are approx €1000 to advertise a single job

    That isn't true.

Example: RecruitIreland.com costs EUR 99 per job.

OK, Fair enough, I was going from the prices I got last month from jobs.ie and irishjobs.ie (who are based in the same building and are actually sister companies) and I was quoted €900 for a single ad. I did get a call back towards the end of the month offering a drop in price to about €700.

That's... insane. They have really increased their prices.

Yep, very steep. Thanks for the recruit ireland idea, we might chance our arm with 100 euro and stick an ad on there. We never went with the other ad in the end, too expensive and its kind of specialised we didnt think we would even find the correct person.

    Thanks for the replies.
For sure we will defiantly be spending money, and we have quite a few jobs to advertise, but we might as well get the job out there on the other platforms as well, and I was just wondering that's all.
Is there anywhere else that hasn't been mentioned?
