Anyone got any links for the best online instructions?

I find the meandmygolf guys pretty good on youtube for some basic, simple tips - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7LHIKr_97A

    Any other recommendations?

I like MeandMyGolf too, also Mark Crossfield is decent although his mannerisms are annoying at times especially his attempts at "banter" in his course vlogs but they're still a good watch.

I can't post links since I'm a new member on here but his channel is youtube.com/4golfonline

Anything by Martin Chuck or Monte Scheinblum.

    http://golfsgoldenrule.wordpress.com/watch-the-videos/

These videos are in conjunction with the book 'Golf's Golden Rule'.
It focuses on the full swing, including drills, with particular emphasis on the impact zone.

No need to buy the book really as the videos contain the gist of it.

I personally have had great success lately by following Paul Wilson. Simple ideas for a simple mind.
