    Hi, not sure in right forum,

    Im just looking for advice on where I can apply for a sole trader Licence?

    If you just want to open a business as a sole trader and not a limited company then you can register your business name with the CRO (Companies registration office). That is straight forward and can be done on line fairly quickly and cheaply. http://www.cro.ie/en/business-registration-business-name.aspx. You don't need a licence to become a sole trader.

    If its a business that requires a licence inorder for you to trade, then that's a different matter. You might want to be more specific.

    Google Casual Trading Licence from your local co council. You can get info there and download the relevant forms.
