    Looking forward to this.

Aidan Walsh starts for Cork and James O'Donoghue returns for Kerry.

Think Kerry will win by 3.

    Lovely point from Buckley there

Kerry by 2 I reckon. Kerry will have a halter on Hurley this time.... unlike the league

    Surely that was a penalty.

Great start from O'Donoghue. He's going to be a great player for years to come. His pace is frightening.

O'Donoghue is class, love watching him play. Kerry are marking Hurley very well so far.

Surprised at how easily Kerry are finding space & running rings around the Cork defence at the moment.

    ref giving cork nothing

Cork are a poor 'footballing' team
its all handpass and carry the ball.

Jeez Cork are horrendous without the ball.

O'Donoghue is a joy to watch - cracking footballer. Kerry and Enright in particular have Hurley well marshalled. Would still expect him to come into the game though.

Michael Shiels is a very good full back, but he is the wrong type of player to match up against James O' Donoghue, Ridiculous tactics from the Cork management, leaving him on him for so long.

Cork are in the top 3 teams in the country.

Kerry should be more than 8 points ahead,Cork after the first 10 minutes have lost every battle all over the pitch, especially in midfield.

    Not on today's showing.

Fully expected Cork to dominate the middle 8, theyre getting cleaned out

Enright, Murphy, Donoghue & Geaney are all comfortably winning their battles

Hard to see Cork pulling back a 10 point lead in the second half. Kerry have the better footballers, Cork forwards being well minded.

    Cork absolutely useless

Cork manager needs to earn his crust now at half time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,315 ✭✭✭✭Mantis Toboggan

Serious work needed in the second half from Cork in the second half to have any chance. Full back line is getting cleaned out but they are not winning any ball around the middle of the park and letting kerry through too easy. No intensity or work rate from Cork.

The trend of Dublin sucking the life out of teams continues. First Derry after their league hammering, now Cork as well. Watch out Meath.

A crucial 2 late scores for Cork before half time have kept them in it, its a boost for them after being dominated for the previous 25 minutes.Kerry have cleaned Cork out in midfield and Kerry's forward play has been great to watch.

Looks to be a reasonable breeze and I'd expect Cork to make a comeback like last year.

Looks like the ref has changed jerseys at half time

Christ, 13 metres my hole. That was moved up at least 20 metres.

Ref is playing with the wind in this half.

Bryan Sheehan is a joy to watch. Effortless. The Andrea Pirlo of the GAA.

Remember when Cork were good in midfield?

O'Donoghue is toying around with Shields, top class forward.

Cork like rabbits in the headlights today. Very poor and little urgency.

What a braindead push from Loughrey. Good to see the referee pulling him for it, they usually don't.

Tke Kerry defence is savagely underrated and has been for a while. Even the new young lads like Fionn Fitz, Enright etc. have looked very good.

It was stupid free to give away but what a point from that angle by Sheehan.

Cork management are terrible. Backs and midfield getting cleaned so change two forwards.

    Awful stuff

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

Why is Shields still on O'Donoghue? He needs to be changed, double up on him or something.

Shades of Kildare last week against Meath.

I agree, best corner forward in the country right now. Unless you have a top quality corner back who you have great confidence in you need to double up on him. Shields is having a nightmare.

Never been a Cadogan fan either. He's too bulky and slow to be a corner back, Mannion made mince meat of him last season as well.
