laptop wofi/internet problem

    My internet is not working properly on my laptop. It keeps saying limited access. It works fibe on my phone and other devices but I inly get about 4 minutes internet then it goes to limited or just loses connection can anyone please help...ive also tried system restore and it didnt solve anything

    Have you tried connecting it using a cable? If that works then the wireless card may not be functioning correctly or you have some sort of local interference.

    Yes tried cable and modem works fine ...internet comes on for few minutes then goes to limited its annoying when other devices work is there software or driver I need

    When you have it on the cable check to see if there's a new driver for the network card. You may have to go to the computer manufactures website to see if there's an alternative driver. Check your device manager to make sure you are downloading the correct driver as some similar laptops use different makes of wifi card. Make sure you're not running two antivirus programs or any firewall software that could be messing with the card.
