    Excellent stuff. Jesus what a life he had; a Traveller with a blind alcoholic father and a mother who ran away with a lesbian. You couldn't make it up.

    He's like the Manchester Johnny Tapia.

    I never really knew what to make of him. He had a very attractive style and really had ability, but I just wasn't convinced. I understand why now.

    I loved him, he was right up my street style wise but he was so frustrating the way he just didn't turn up sometimes. He would just disappoint. He was a class act, little bit punch drunk now, Sky Sports did a segment on him last year.
