    hi
I have cat 5 network cable running through out the house.
All leading back to a patch panel in the utility, and my current broadband provider is "Line of site"

Vodafone are due to put a landmine in, to see if we can get fixed line broadband,.

the land-line will terminate at a panel on the external wall.
there is a cat 5 cable running from here, back to the Patch panel.

does anyone know, what kind of connection Vodafone will set here, and how do i connect the cat 5 cable to it?

    thanks

An eircom tech will do the provide. They connect a drop wire to the ETU(external box) and then run it down into the master socket (NTU). The rest of the internals are fed from there.
