    Hi There,

I wonder if someone works for Salesforce.com? Could you share some opinion on how is it to work for them? What is the culture, work/life balance? Is there a company parking available?
    Thanks.

Excellent company, one of the best. The interview process is very tough, but they want the best people and it shows. Culture is great, friendly and optimistic. Work life balance is generally fine but you may need to travel a lot depending on what department and lever you are at. It's a tough working atmosphere like most american companies targets are high etc but also a lot of money to be made if you do well.

Thanks for that. That's actually very positive.

    Hi,

I know I'm very late to this thread but does anyone have any additional info to add to this?

I'm Mid-way through the interview process and I'm getting really mixed reports on what it is like to work there. I know that the package itself is great, but I'm hearing the work/life balance is not so great.

I have no problem working hard throughout the day but I do have other commitments in the evenings that I don't want to have to miss.

If anyone could shed a bit more light on what it's like to work there I would really appreciate it!

I think your experience of Salesforce depends on the area you are working.

    - two guys I know worked there in Operational areas but didn't stay long.

    - I also know two people working in more project-based, less pressurised roles and they love it.

In all cases the interview process was long and rigorous. I think ~7/9 interviews
    (some of them phone interviews).

Thanks so much for your response. 7-9 interviews seems excessive!!

Yeah I have one friend who works in the more project based role that you're describing and she loves it but I've also spoken to a couple of people who have friends in sales there and apparently they are constantly stressed to bits and working way over the regular work hours.

Hmmm not sure about this now.
