    Hey,

Can anyone reccomend the best (i.e. cheapest) place to buy Dermalogica?

I used to use Millies.ie but their price for Skin Smoothing Cream has gone up by €10 in the last 6 months.

Other than that, does anyone know of a good alternative? I can't really justify €52 for a moisturiser at the moment!

    Thanks

I personally think that skin smoothing cream is crap, for the price of it there really isn't any special ingredients. You could try Una Brennan maybe the Neroli range from Boots or the vitamin c range.

It's cheaper on beautyskincare.ie, not by much though. Dermalogica in general seems to more expensive, and there are never any discount codes floating around.

I used to use it but its very dear and to be honest I didnt find it anything great!

Ive switched to using hydraluron under either nip and fab moisture fix or rodial stem moisturoiser. I have sensitive skin which is why I went for dermalogica originally but I have found that elemis / rodial / nip & Fab / la roche posay are all fine on my skin. The la roache posay creams are fab too.

edit to add - you can get demalogica on www.beautyflash.co.uk

    Thanks for the responses.

I've got really sensitive skin too so I'll give that Nip & Fab one a go. Seems to get good reviews.

I tired an Una Brennan moisture mask before & it just didn't suit my skin at all :(

I use a lot of nip and fab stuff and love them. If you have very sensitive skin the glycolic and viper venom stuff might not be the best to start with as its stronger stuff than the regular ones - I use it on mine though and its grand! (I can't touch simple / nivea / byphasse). They do a facial oil cleanser and a face wash which are not of that variety. I love the no needle fix serum, the eyebright (brill for dark shadows) and moisture fix the face cream.

Hydraluron can be used with any skin care product and if you suffer at all from dry skin or lined skin id recommend it - its really amazing stuff!

Off topic but I bought hydraluron recently but have no idea how to use it! Do you put it on your skin after cleansing and toning and before your moisturiser? I've just been using it on its own after a shower because I've no idea what it's for!

Theres various opinions on how to use it I think. I go by whats written on the tube so I wash and dry skin in the morning and apply a thin layer of hydraluron before anything else i,e, moisturoiser goes over it. Same at night apply to cleansed dry skin first thing and then any serum and cream goes over it.

Dont use it by itself as it wont do anything to moisturoise the surface layer of your skin - it will start to work down a bit deeper to prevent dryness etc so use it with a moisturoiser.

I think beautyskincare usually works out the best. I was using samples of smoothing cream while I waiting on my active moist to arrive and it calmed down my roseacea outbreak. It's a bit heavy for my skin at this time of year though.

I think the 100ml for about €45 is great value when you think most moisturisers are only 50ml. I used the superfacialist rose moisturiser recently and my roseacea flared up really badly so I decided to stop being penny wise/pound foolish and buy dermalogica.
