Constant low pressure in fine weather

Much as I love the fine weather it plays havoc with my water pressure
I'm rural based but on the mains, pretty much the last house on my line
I cannot run the dishwasher for example at the moment cos the pressure is too low
I have to do laundry late at night / early in the morning - not a hope I can put on a wash during the day
I sometimes loose water completely in the cold water tap during late afternoon - just as I try to make dinner.
In a busy household with 3 small kids this is wrecking my head.
I have raised the issue with waterworks Ireland but with no joy.

Short of installing my own well what can I do? If anything?

On a side note we do have the large water tank out the back which feeds the showers/toilets etc but fecking plumber set things up first day to run the dishwasher and washing machine off the same line as the main water tap - how expensive would it be (roughly) to redirect these appliances off the water tank? Would this solve my problem? Seriously can't put up with this much longer :-(

If everyone had water meters your water pressure wouldn't drop in the summer. People waste water all year round but more so in the summer
    I don't work for Irish water. :)

You'd have to be careful ( setup-wise ) running dishwasher etc from a tank in case of waterborne bugs - in the warm weather they could multiply to fatal levels
