This Sunday sees the 10th edition of the Eddie Tobin Memorial Road Races on the usual Bunclody, Co Wexford circuit. The race is held over a rolling and challenging 26km circuit. The finish line, on the crest of a hill after a 4-5km drag, provides a tough and safe finish.

This year the five Wexford clubs are coming together to promote the four races which includes the Barrow Grand Prix, The Sam & Betty Darcy Memorial RR and round 5 of the Womans National League.

Full details, directions, route map etc are available on http://www.slaneycyclingclub.com/?page_id=5

The race has consistantly produced worthy champions over the years with an impressive roll of honour from 1st winner Ciaran Power in 2005 to Mark Dowling for the past two years.

There is also a program of underage races on Saturday but these races take place on the Davidstown circuit on the New Ross side of Enniscorthy. Again full details on the club website.
