anyone use him (angus show bull in Cork) and have you seen any calves. I used 2 straws and got one calf but unfortunately she died when about 8 weeks old with enlarged heart. My view at time was he was a possible terminal type sire but at 2 months you can't really judge. I was considering him again but as I haven't seen anything off him, only rumours of stock...would like some facts before I consider him for use next Jan/Feb

Just checked on him with 2 breeders and I don't think I will be using him in future eventhough an outcross. I missed tullamore where he was shown and I believe beaten by a younger bull

If it's the same bull I'm thinking of he is way too fleshy a bull. Good animal but over fat for purpose, would be totally useless as a stock bull. Does having an animal in such poor condition affect his straws or would it make any difference?

Not sure about impact to semen but semen was taken a few years ago. Agree too fleshy but a tonne of feed will probably do that. I assume it's unlikely that he is working as only doing show circuit as he is approx 1.5 tonne.. He has good structure himself but I was looking is he passing this on and I have been given only average feedback. I would like some more feedback before I would use again.
