Original price paid not listed following transfer from Sharewatch to Saxo

I transferred my share a/c from sharewatch to saxo in Jan 2013. However I noticed that the original price I paid for the shares (unfurtunitely more than they’re currently worth) isnt stated in my new saxo a/c. Instead it reads paid price as 0:00. This is obviously alarming, since if my shares were to improve the original price I paid for them is not stated on my a/c and I would be taxed on price rises which are not profit, but above the price listed on saxo a/c (if that makes any sense.)

I have been told by saxo to contact sharewatch, however ive had no success in doing so.
During a phone conversation with a person in the customer services section of saxo, I was assured that the shares listed in the new saxo a/c would show the original price paid, rather that current (at the time) market value, thus reflecting what I paid for them. As far as I know all phone calls are recorded, but im hoping I wont have to go down that road.
Has anyone had any experience of this scenario?

    Thanks
