1000 euro voucher - what would you pick

So I got lucky and won a 1000 euro voucher for Nigels in Galway. :D
Bad news is that I have no money spare to put with it, so my budget is pretty much exactly 1000 (maybe 1100 but definitely no more than that)
Here is their selection of road bikes around that price -

they also stock some used bikes but I would have to wait for the right size frame to come along

Background info - I am currently riding a Trek 1.1 for commuting (30k round trip) and occasional sportives/weekend spins but I have been thinking of upgrading as I am getting more into cycling - maybe even considering racing next year if I can get fit enough. So this stroke of luck is timely. Would love to be able to get a carbon frame but that is unlikely given the aforementioned budgetary constraints (maybe secondhand??). Want to keep the trek for winter commuting.

Any advice on how to spend it? Should I be looking for the best possible groupset or the best possible wheelset? Or try to convince my better half to stretch to a low end carbon frame??
