Have a feeling Robert Karlsson could go well, seems to be coming back into form after a few years of struggling so would be nice to see him do well. I wonder if being first out will be a good thing or not.

Was thinking this aswell, at the Irish Open on the Sunday, I saw him hit the most ridiculous(Phil style) flop shot from behind the 9th to about 2 feet but missed the putt, the short stick seems to be his issue!

These conditions should suit mcilroy , can hit the high iron shots. Brilliant shot into the 2nd

Very early but signs not great for Woods

Solid round from Karlsson alright, fancy Poulter if the injury isn't a hindrance. Thornbjorn Olesens form has dipped a little but the guy has huge talent so I'm hoping he does well, Dustin Johnson has a squeak too if he plays smart.......Another Irish winner would be great though.....

Would expect to see Garcia & Rose to be thereabouts Sunday.....Have I missed anyone :) !!!!

What time is coverage on BBC until? Would love to see end of the day, probably have to wait for highlight show though.

Until 8pm, so effectively until the end of the day.

Fairly big lag on the online leaderboard which is annoying. TV coverage is great though!

Hardly recognised him .....blueish pants and white top, very un-Ricky like! Playing great - would love to see him do well. Great to see Eduardo Molinari going nicely too - he's had a rotten run with injury.

3 birdies in a row from Tiger, up to -2 now. Great recovery from bogey-bogey start.

Tom Watson not long after finishing his round is straight back out to the driving range. Love it, hope he can make the weekend.

Well good man Tiger - dreadful start and no form, but very nice round at the end of the day.

What happened to harrington? Check this morning and he was -1 after five holes........and then looked just now and he finished at +3

Can't believe Padraig has no sponsor on the front part of his cap. A three time major winner in all.
