    You're welcome.

    Nail polish remover?

Don't mop it up Suave. Let it dry in a thick layer, and then you can peel it off.

    DON'T WIPE IT UP!

Best thing is to take the time to model your beautifully painted nails whilst the nail varnish begins to dry on your lovely leather couch.

You should have gotten shellac after all.

I'm never listening to you ever again :pac:

    My nails are beautiful though.
Fuk the couch. Who needs couches.

    Fcuk the couch is right.

But have you considered how you're going to top up your nails when they chip? Now that you've spilled all the nail varnish like?

There's a joke to be made about the internet, leather couches and stain removal but I'm classier than that.

Get some brown paint no one will notice...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,973 ✭✭✭RayM

Just cover the rest of the couch in nail varnish. Problem solved.

Alternatively, it might be easier to just cover the stain with couch-coloured nail varnish.

    Or chocolate.

    Cover it in chocolate.

    Do NOT eat the chocolate.

I've about 1/3 of the bottle left. It's all good!

My daughter spilt nail polish on her bedclothes recently. I let it dry, removed what I could then got rid of the rest with WD40.

    Burn the couch down.

Best Burn the house down to be safe. Eradicate it

Paint the rest of the couch the same colour. Or burn down the house.

Wash it off with a dishcloth, it won't stain; wrong sort of leather. Don't let it dry!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,292 ✭✭✭SouthTippBass

    Put a cushion over it.

Mop it up with kitchen paper towels, then use acetone to dab up the remains. Then pour on a small amount of petrol and set the petrol on fire - the scorch marks will disguise the stains from the nail polish.

I can't help at all but the nail varnish is lovely.

    Your nails are simply fabulous.

Now get the couch up on Adverts. If you hurry you might be able to get a swap deal for a pen organiser.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 920 ✭✭✭Dramatik

What ever you do don't try to switch the couch on! Place the couch in a bowl of rice and then leave it in the hotpress for a couple of days, it should work fine again after that.

    Paint the whole couch green.

I'd argue, but I had to cover a seat with fabric there a minute ago, so I did it on the kitchen table. The missus was not impressed at the whole scheme, but said as long as there was no destruction, fire ahead....but mind the new table-cloth....I laid out the material and started cutting(bear in mind me and fabric cutting have never met before..., it seemed to be going very well. I lifted up my bit of material, all nicely cut to shape, and the tablecloth had the same shape cut into it...sh1te. I have yet to break the good news...
