My right ear is blocked and I feel I am under-water. I have difficulty hearing and went to the doctors today and he told me that I have fluid behind the eardrum and said it will take a while as a tube is blocked that is connected to me ear.! but i cannot wait that long. He told me to chew chewing gum a lot and gave me some ibuprofen tablets. Is there any AH way of curing this ? if any of you have a tested way let me know ASAP .
thanking you with all my ears.

Get someone to fart down your ear.

Had it last year while in the states. Lasted about three weeks. No solution just one day felt water coming out of my ear and all was well again. Frustrating as f**k though!

    Use your left ear.

Lie on your side on a pillow with that ear on the bottom chewing away. If it's just fluid it'll drip out eventually. Also do that thing where you hold your nose and blow to pop your ears like on a plane.

Bit dangerous asking strangers on the internet for medical advice. That's exactly how AIDS got started, I assume.
