€50 per month is mad money...

Meanwhile in Romania you can get 1000Mb for €16 per month...

But since incomes are about 20% of Irish incomes, the Romanians are in effect paying 60% more :)

I'd gladly pay for it, to be but a dream ofc since it'd NEVER be available in my location...

No, I got to make do paying €30/month with Vodafone's 20GB mobile broadband package [for gaming with], and THREE's 60GB package for €35/month --- so I'm paying €65 / month for a measly 80GB data allowance... and the speeds aren't even that great!

I would avoid magnet at all cost... they tell me that they have a manufacturing fault with the routers that causes phones to stop working every couple of days (no audio), they haven't fixed my issue in 7 months.. they have to be ashamed of themselves..

I would avoid magnet like the plague as well. Total and utter joke of a company.

Rolling out 1g/bit to 120 apartments is fooling no one.

Meanwhile in Cork you can get 8Mbit for €45.

    ... :)

If I could upgrade by 992Mbit for €5 i'd take it

I think the point is that this is just Magnet running 1gb/s to one or two apartment buildings for marketing purposes.

It won't benefit the vast majority of people.

The news of the ESB/Vodafone FTTH network coming to 500,000 homes is much more exciting and important news.

As is Eircoms eFibre/VDSL network coming to 1.4 million premises. Or UPC's network getting 1gb/s with DOCSIS 3.1.

These are the important news, not this!
