Don't think too many others think so.. Think it takes them out of their box and they don't like that...

I think the ego is an issue. It has been the one thing preventing me in the past from changing my perspective or being flexible in that way.
If I BELIEVE something, then my ego seems to state that anything conflicting is a rejection of myself, because apparently what we believe, we are, in some way. Or it tells us who we are based on societies general consensus.

That issue is prevailent on both sides.
There are people who get into CT's and never make it out the other end. And also people who get involved because of what it says about them and their relationship with society.
As religious(faithful) in their beliefs as anyone else.
The conspiracy theory movement I would see as another clever attempt to recondition the masses. This change stated in that article, to me could be a result of a purposeful reconditioning of society.
I used to have a reason or explanation for why it was advantageous, but I can't remember it now ^^
May have been linked with belief systems and the liberation of the individual from belief, in order to accept a new philosophy suited for a global plutocracy.
But then with the strong lobbying for a censored interenet, I also see a possibility that this change in social behaviour and thinking, could be getting too out of control.
It's very hard to say for sure...It may just be that society needs more of an outlet when things get bad. and politicians are there to take that burden, while the plan goes ahead. The "liberation" of human consciousness(new age movement) then might be just a diversion tactic(or gateway) to buy time to promote a later model of thinking.

If we see these trends, there are certainly massive think tanks running these stats much more accurately. CIA and NSA might be a good place to point generaly in the west.
And so I believe it likely that it is all well and good for them, all things accounted for.
