    Hi all

    I need to update our clubhouse pc, does anyone kow where i will get a monitor with a swipe reader attached ? One that will work with Handicapmaster

    You could try someone that specialises in retail equipment. I often see in bars the staff have their own swipe card and they just swipe the side of the screen. Claremorris GC in mayo have a screen with the swipe on the side. It might just be an attachment that you get and it sticks to the side of the screen.

    As etxp says, most of these are just monitors with a USB magnetic strip reader attached to the side. Many of the specialist retail screens however have the reader built into the enclosure of the monitor, but it is ultimately the same thing.

    ePOS suppliers would be a good starting point. Many of these used in retail however are touch screen which I'm not sure if you'd require. If you wanted to do it on the cheap, I'd just buy a monitor and a USB (or serial depending on the PC/software config) magnetic card reader and fix it to the side of the monitor or some other place. You can pick up the card readers for about €30 on eBay.
