Does anyone know of a tattoo place that uses vegan inks? It would be great if there was somewhere around, otherwise I'll have to see if they can be ordered in especially for me!

    Thanks :)

    Where are you based?

Joseph Deegan does for sure in Dublin on principle. But Fusion Ink is one of the most popular brands nowadays so a lot more artists are probably using vegan friendly ink and don't even realise it. I believe Intenze, Eternal and Dermaglo are too which are all pretty popular, and there are many others. Rather than looking for a shop that states they do it I'd say you're better off messaging the artist you want to get tattooed by and asking what inks they use and then googling it yourself because a serious proportion of artists probably are using veg inks these days and don't even know it.

Depending on how strict you are you should consider the after-care products you're going to use before-hand and also I'm not sure if all brands of carbon paper for the stencil are vegan friendly.

Thanks :) I have looked for after care products already so I'm okay there. Didn't even think of the stencil paper - its been years since I got a tattoo so I've forgotten the ins & outs of it all.

I'm near Galway but have friends & family in Dublin so wouldn't mind getting it done there either. I think I'll contact one of the places in Galway & see what they use - thanks for the tips!

Angus in Awol definitely uses Dermaglo black and fusion colours anyway was only there two weeks ago being tattooed and am vegan myself. Pretty sure everybody in the shop uses the same ink too. As I say though most places probably are veg friendly these days so not really a huge issue anymore.

Oh that's great, that's where I wanted to go. Angus did my first tattoo so I was hoping to go back to him! Thanks :)

The lads in Spilled Ink in Dublin use vegan ink as far as I'm aware! The stuff they used for me was anyway! (I think!!!!)
