Car hire Majorca

Travelling to Majorca later this summer and looking a hiring a car for a week. The main sites (Avis etc.) are astronomical but the cheaper ones (holiday autos etc.) come with loads of horror stories. Ok ones seem to include Hiper and Sixt but if anyone has any advice/experience then let me know. How bad are they on trying…

Ok ones seem to include Hiper and Sixt but if anyone has any advice/experience then let me know. How bad are they on trying to rip you off. Has anyone survived without being ripped off one way or another (fuel, phantom damage etc.) ? Any good experiences?
